Nassau is the capital of the Bahamas. It lies on the island of New Providence, with neighboring Paradise Island accessible via Nassau Harbor bridges. A popular cruise-ship stop, the city has a hilly landscape and is known for beaches as well as its offshore coral reefs, popular for diving and snorkeling. It retains many of its typical pastel-colored British colonial buildings, like the pink-hued Government House. ― Google
There is plenty to do and see if you want to walk around. There are stores and restaurants/bars just outside the port.

There are a variety of great tours you can book to see more of Nassau. There are also a few Hotels/Resorts within walking distance where you can get a day pass to enjoy their beaches and amenities. If you would like to see more of Historic Nassau, go swim with the pigs, or do a Dolphin Encounter, let me know! I'll be happy to help you book an amazing excursion for your time in the Bahamas.
